CONTRACT - Procurement Consultant - London - Public Sector - 5 Months
I am currently looking for an experienced Procurement Consultant to work for a Public Sector organisation in the London area. I'm ideally looking for someone with Council, or at least Public Sector experience.
Skills:
- Extensive experience of delivering complex and high risk procurements and sourcing activity at a strategic level, with a strong track record of meeting service/business need, delivering financial savings and minimising service and procurement risk.
- Providing strategic and pragmatic procurement advice and provide quality assurance
- Extensive knowledge of domestic and EU legislative requirements in relation to public procurement
- Knowledge of the new Public Contract Regulations 2015
- Experience in preparing and reviewing contractual terms
- Developing and embedding service and process improvements
- MCIPs (level 6) or working towards it or equivalent
- Proven strong understanding of e-tendering and a working knowledge of e-tendering packages
- Experience of strong supply chain management, spend analysis and commercial negotiation
- Experience of complex governance and partnership working arrangements
