Position Description:
Senior Vehicle Integration Engineer
Responsibilities of a Vehicle Integration Engineer: Act as the surrogate customer during the development and launch phases of new and current model programs. This role allows you to have a direct input into the Vehicle and its attribute balance. Take ownership of the management of key vehicle attributes and lead collaboration between the engineering teams to meet program targets. Be involved in vehicle development from concept to manufacture, defining benchmarking, target setting and hard point definition. Manage resolution of technical conflicts and issues between engineering teams to agree trade-offs to best meet product level specifications. Liaise with the test team to plan and perform validations. Provide customer level view point and guidance in cross functional issue discussions. Responsible for vehicle integration (VI) of Transit carline vehicles/brand technologies reporting to the Transit VI Supervisor and interfaces with all relevant areas including: Study, request, participate in customer feedback processes. Assemble reports from Customer feedback events to progress issues with PAT/PMT and track to closure. Support Engineering evaluation teams at all phases of the program. Arrange drive appraisal logistics and evaluation at key phases or the program development. Provide technical support for Marketing activities.

Experience Required:
More than two years relevant product or engineering experience, not including sandwich courses or business placements.
Experience Preferred:
Vehicle Development/Launch Team experience
Education Required:
Relevant Engineering degree or have completed two thirds of formal study towards degree course and commitment to complete studies, or equivalent industry experience.
Education Preferred:
Mechanical/Automotive Engineering Degree
