Project People are currently recruiting for an entry level Marketing Assistant to work with a global technology and consumer goods organisation in Reading, on a contract basis.
Supporting the CMO and regional Sales Teams, key responsibilities will include:
- Planning marketing campaigns.
- Advertising.
- Getting involved with public relations work.
- Event organisation.
- Market research and competitor analysis.
- Maintaining and updating customer databases.
- Writing and proof reading marketing documents.
- Getting involved with product launches.
- Distributing marketing material and e-newsletters.
- Working to secure sponsorship agreements.
- Organising customer entertainment and taking control of company gifts.
Key Skills/Experience:
- Degree educated.
- Great planning and organisational skills.
- Fantastic analytical skills.
- Ability to use your initiative.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Creative, with the drive and enthusiasm to forge a successful career in Marketing.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Great influencing and negotiation skills.
- IT literate.
- Fluent English. Chinese would be beneficial.
