Project People are currently recruiting for an entry level Marketing Assistant to work with a global technology and consumer goods organisation in Reading, on a contract basis.

Supporting the CMO and regional Sales Teams, key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning marketing campaigns.
  • Advertising.
  • Getting involved with public relations work.
  • Event organisation.
  • Market research and competitor analysis.
  • Maintaining and updating customer databases.
  • Writing and proof reading marketing documents.
  • Getting involved with product launches.
  • Distributing marketing material and e-newsletters.
  • Working to secure sponsorship agreements.
  • Organising customer entertainment and taking control of company gifts.

Key Skills/Experience:

  • Degree educated.
  • Great planning and organisational skills.
  • Fantastic analytical skills.
  • Ability to use your initiative.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Creative, with the drive and enthusiasm to forge a successful career in Marketing.
  • Able to work as part of a team.
  • Great influencing and negotiation skills.
  • IT literate.
  • Fluent English. Chinese would be beneficial.
