Description

Job Title: QA Advisor

Duration: 6 months

Daily Rate: 420 EUR

Location: Amsterdam

The key responsibilities of the QA Advisor are:

  • Quality Assurance, including coordination and supervision of testing services of all changes and new development in the application life cycle management
  • Quality Review and acceptance of testing deliverables provided by the service provider as described in the Application Center Framework (ACF)
  • Coordination of Business Acceptance Test (BAT) and/or execution of BAT on behalf of the business
  • 2nd level support for business applications
  • Supporting the Incident, Problem and Change Management activities for business applications
  • Reports to Application Center Manager

The Advisor will be expected to

  • Design, creation and execution of sample functional and regression tests to validate quality of deliveries from service provider
  • Lead in the development and use of standards and best practices for test and test documentation (plan, scripts and reports) in consultation with service provider
  • Verification that business requirements are met by reviewing test scripts delivered and/or maintained by service provider
  • Raise defects on behalf of the Business and co-ordinate with in-house and off shore teams for timely resolution
  • Definition and use of templates and guidelines in supporting QA tools
  • Leading the acceptance of functional, regression and performance tests conducted by the service provider
  • Leading on approaches to the test coordination role
  • Alignment and verification of automated testing activities by the service provider
  • Support of ITS work programme
  • Monitoring of progress, quality and efficiency of test activities performed by service provider
  • Review and approval of test results executed by service provider
  • Good and proven communicator to explain and achieve team objectives
  • Takes full responsibility for own personal development of skills and competencies and provides guidance to other team members
  • Planning and co-ordination of work for own and team assignments
  • Moderate SQL knowledge
  • Usage of QA supporting tools like TOAD & HP ALM/Quality Center
  • Promoting and advancing a customer focus within QA
