Description
Marketing Manager x 4, ideally with public sector experience, required for 6 month contracts with public sector client in Edinburgh.
Duties will include:
- Contributing to delivery of marketing campaigns in line with company strategic objectives and brands, including strategy development and all communication channels.
- Advising policy leads on how marketing can help them achieve their objectives and shape communication of their policies.
- Drafting bespoke marketing briefs and liaising with other colleagues in Communications to ensure a joined-up approach across marketing, news, digital and corporate communications
- Briefing and liaising with stakeholder groups and delivery partners, ensuring buy-in, co-ordination and support for all marketing activity.
- Managing relevant marketing service agencies to support the creation and implementation of campaigns.
- Use insight to identify target audiences/partners, support decision-making and help inform the overall communications approach.
- Build insight using tools to monitor content and listen to conversations on key channels.
- Provide advice on appropriate digital channels to reach target audiences. Research where target audiences are active, including online partnership networks.
- Develop outline communications plans, identifying the most effective channels and tools to engage audiences and maximise reach.
- Design and develop content and messages suitable for use across multiple channels.
- Support the delivery of online events including podcasts, blogs and tweets.
Essential Skills:
- Experience working in an all-round marketing role at managerial level
- Relevant professional qualification (qualified by experience will be accepted)
- Full driving licence
Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in a similar role within the public sector
Candidates will be required to either already hold a valid Disclosure Scotland certificate or be willing and able to apply for one prior to CV submittal to the client.
