Description
1 year contract position with possible extensions for a Financial analyst. This is an onsite position in downtown Raleigh M-F 8am-5pm.
Duties include:
- Provide finance support for 2-3 special projects. Support activities includes establishing processes, coordination of information, reporting and interacting with stakeholders in other business groups.
- Provide financial, accounting, and business management analytical support to various levels of management and customers.
- Support the reporting process within the department to facilitate understanding of business and variance impacts to department and employees.
- Compile and analyze statistical data to identify and correct errors. red to meet monthly and quarterly business unit data requests.
- Work with internal and external auditors, providing necessary information and answering questions as needed.
- Maintain good working knowledge of accounting policies and impacts as required.
- Actively seek to identify and meet customer needs with a sense of urgency, taking ownership of customer issues and problems until resolved.
Education Requirement: Four-year degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related fields
