Marketing Planning and Integration Manager - 3 month contract - Richmond - £300 a day

A globally recognised prestigious brand is urgently recruiting for a Marketing Planning and Integration Manager in Richmond.

Marketing Planning and Integration Manager

Purpose of the role:
*To coordinate, organise and help integrate marketing channels into a cohesive unit
*To establish new processes to align marketing channels and foster collaboration and integration within the team and with agencies
*To consolidate and summarise reporting across channels to improve visibility and understanding of marketing results across channels
*To improve budgeting and forecasting processes

Objectives:
*To ensure marketing campaigns are integrated appropriately across all channels
*To maximise ROI of each marketing channel
*To monitor and report on campaign effectiveness using internal and external reports and tools
*To manage marketing budgets and investment closely across each channel.

KPIs:
*ROI from marketing campaigns
*CPC across all channels: Paid Search, SEO, Retargeting, Social and CRM
*Traffic to Client
*Site vibrancy
*Brand reputation
*Budget phasing and spend

Stakeholders:
Colleagues within working squads, each of which product manager, developers, UX designer, QA, SEO, Marketing and Sales
Finance teams in UK and Europe
Agencies inc. Brand, media, social, PR, research and CRM
Marketing team inc. CRM, PR, B-to-B, Paid Search and SEO managers
Leadership team inc. Marketing, Product, Tech, Finance, Legal and Commercial

Core responsibilities:
*Devising, sharing and managing the marketing campaign calendar and reporting on progress and milestones
*Helping align commercial and marketing objectives and plans
*Implementing new weekly meetings to align marketing team and agencies
*Communicating with and updating internal stakeholders on marketing strategies and tactics to achieve buy in and seamless integration
*Building marketing reports/dashboard for Leadership team and other internal stakeholders
*Producing weekly marketing campaign and results updates for Leadership
*Establishing and helping maintain strong working relationships for marketing with internal departments inc. B-to-B verticals, Customer Services and Finance
*Owning and managing marketing spend in line with quarterly forecasts
*Adjusting and prioritising spend in line with commercial priorities.
*Oversee the annual marketing budget process to deliver comprehensive marketing plans to deliver site traffic and vibrancy targets

Experience and skills
*Marketing planning for mass-market brands with good knowledge of digital marketing
*Detailed understanding of budgeting process
*Experience of creating large-scale, integrated marketing campaign plans
*Experience of working with global/centralised teams
*Experience of working with media agencies
*Ability to work under pressure, work with tight budgets and mange conflicting workloads

Reporting to
Acquisition and Retention Manager

Context:
The marketing team is a small team of 8 specialists with diverse reporting lines and stakeholders. The team comprises: Head of Marketing is responsible for the team overall; 1 x PR Manager; 1 x Brand & Social; 2 x CRM; 1x B-to-B; 1 x SEO; 1 x Paid Search. The team is new and highly motivated and capable but is very siloed and narrow in its focus. New cross functional squads are being built within Client which should result in better collaboration between tech/dev and commercial teams. But it will also mean that the marketing team becomes even more diffuse.
The team needs an experienced planner with outstanding project management skills to come in to set up and introduce meetings, reports and processes that will create a foundation for working collaboratively, integrating marketing channels and sharing common goals and KPIs.
The team culture is very positive - dynamic, ambitious, confident and capable. But it needs more structure, more rigour, stronger focus on results and outcomes instead of busy-ness and output.
