*Role based in Sydney, Australia* 6 - 12 month Contract (extendable)
Build & Release Manager:
MUST have Expert knowledge in Atlassian suite products and how their automation processes need to be applied for release management
Responsible for:
- Implementing and managing release processes from development to test, staging and production environments
- Implementing and managing configuration data management processes, and ensuring configuration procedures are followed by teams in staging and production environments
- Work with key stakeholders (IT PM, Test Manager, build team) to ensure a forward environment release plan is developed, managed and communicated.
- Work with vendors to ensure automation of build and deployment process is achieved and maintained, utilising the Atlassian suite
- Coordination of enterprise change management for relevant (ie Production) deployments
- Manage risks and resolve issues that affect build and release quality
- Conduct release readiness reviews prior to key releases
- Continually work towards making improvements in the release process
- Prepare and transition build & release processes to BAU as part of the implementation of the project.
Qualification:
- Previous experience of release management, build management or environment management
- Experience with Cloud based implementations and/or processes
- Understanding of agile/dev ops processes
- 5-10 years' experience in information systems operations environment
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams and vendors in a complex multi integrated environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills
