Commercial Analyst
A large and prestigious organisation based in Manchester City Centre is looking to hire the professional services of a Commercial Analyst to provide analytical support of Commercial focused tasks and activities during a period of major transformation within the business.
Key responsibilities:
- Audit trail analysis
- Quality Assurance Checking
- MI Reporting in Excel
- Ensuring plans are maintained using SharePoint tracking database
- Document and communicate the processes and standards required for the maintenance of the Sharepoint tracking database and associated documents.
- Provide oversight to ensure that the processes are followed and that standards are met.
Experience Required:
- Demonstrable practical experience and knowledge of commercial, contract management and governance including preferably a Supplier Management framework or equivalent.
- Practical experience of a Procurement function, and experience of detailed commercial negotiation approaches/sourcing outcomes.
- Practical experience of using Sharepoint databases.
- Experience and knowledge of using MS Powerpoint, MS Project and MS Excel particularly formulas, graphs and waterfall reporting, (knowledge of pivot tables an advantage but not essential).
- Good general knowledge of how the Bank and Insurance businesses operate.
- Demonstrate a working understanding of managing risks and issues in a regulated environment.
- Ability to assess data against agreed standards and conduct impartial quality assurance checks, identify gaps and recommend improvement actions.
- Must possess an excellent standard of professional communication, both written and verbal.
- Experience of working in a Project environment, be able to develop and manage project plans.
