Change Analyst - 12 month fixed-term contract
Joining the TUI UK & I Business Change team as a Business Change Analyst - Airline; you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and supporting all change projects that impact Airline. Working alongside a number of stakeholders from across the business you will ensure that plans are co-ordinated alongside BAU activities and that risks and issues are escalated appropriately. This will include triaging of incidents, responsibility for the content of one view of change, updating the five year plan and prioritisation/impact assessment of change projects.
What you will be doing as the Change Analyst
As Change Analyst - Airline you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the roadmap of change required to enable the Airline to achieve the 5 year plan targets. In this role you will act as a champion for change and encourage a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
You will support with the "triage" of both incidents and concepts at the "new ideas" stage to ensure they are aligned to the direction outlined in the 5 year plan, supporting the definition of business case required to initiate the project (working with the IT Business Partner/Finance Partner) and the gathering of Business requirements (working with Business Analysts and Project Managers). Through the technical development phase and testing, the Change Analyst will support with issue resolution to ensure any blockers to progress are tackled and promptly dealt with. You will also need to ensure that business testing is of a high quality, that all changes are tested and signed off by the relevant business stakeholders and that IT testing is comprehensive so that the end solution delivers the expected business benefits.
You will also assist in the creation of robust implementation plans for projects which takes in to account all end to end impacts and delivers detailed communication and training plans. During the project lifecycle you will use a framework to ensure risks and interdependencies are managed and that reporting is kept up to date to track progress. Following 'go live' you will be involved in ensuring that benefits are tracked and communicated.
Another key part of this role will be managing the creation of all monthly Change Reporting for senior management. These reports provide analysis into all Airline change and BAU activity so that business leaders are able to make informed decisions on project sign-off, improve understanding of risk and ability to deal effectively with change.
What we are looking for in the Change Analyst
• Strong team player that is happy to play a supporting role but also leading and coaching where necessary.
• Proven track record of managing projects from idea initiation to deployment.
• Able to work on own initiative and to tight deadlines.
• Commercial acumen - ability to understand business requirements and quickly evaluate the cost/benefit of different change options with input from IT.
• Ability to work and collaborate with stakeholders in cross functional teams to ensure projects are appropriately prioritised and then delivered.
• Resilient and adaptable to change and enjoys a fast moving business environment.
• Ability to see the big picture, analyse complex data and focus on important detail.
• Understand customer needs, both internal customers and external customers and balance this with commercial drivers.
• Comfortable with dealing with ambiguity and able to quickly adapt to changes in priority.
• Excellent communicator, both verbal and written, to challenge, engage and inspire team members, peers and stakeholders.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
