PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • High level of expertise in the field of Sales and Supply Chain systems within relevant industry sector(s).
  • Track record of leadership and achievement against challenging objectives.
  • Strategic planning capability and vision.
  • Proven experience of organizing an IS team within a multinational commercial orientated blue chip organization.
  • Track record of successful project/programme management and delivery.

.SUMMARY

  • This Senior Business Analyst role requires you to participate in shaping and implementing the IS strategy while working in partnership with the business and with global IS team.
  • You will be responsible for defining and subsequently delivering the systems approach for the region.
  • Report directly to the Regional IS Director.
  • Providing leadership to the IS Customer team, working closely with the Sales Directors to understand key customer challenges.
  • Accountable for creating innovative IS solutions, which you will manage the successful deployment of.
  • This role demands the successful implementation of all IS projects to the highest quality, delivered to time and within budget.

SCOPE/DIMENSIONS OF ROLE

  • Build an effective and strong partnership with business colleagues (particularly senior level Sales and Supply Chain stakeholders) to ensure projects and procedures take into account relevant business.
  • Successfully define and innovate Customer Systems strategy in line with key business requirements within an increasing SAP environment.
  • Build an effective and strong partnership with Global, Area and local IS teams, to ensure projects and procedures taking into account relevant priorities and to optimise project delivery.
  • Deliver against agreed IS Front Office strategy and objectives on time, within budget, of the highest quality and within external regulatory guidelines.
  • As a key member of the IS team, contribute to the development of the IS strategy and its successful implementation.
  • Develop, gain approval of and effectively manage 3 year road map for the region.
  • Ensure highest level of security of the IS environments, both physical and information.
  • Effectively manage external relationships including vendor negotiation, selection and on-going Vendor Management.
  • Monitor IS trends and new Front Office initiatives to identify potential benefits/risks and ensure local/regional/global awareness of these.
  • Ensure the IS Customer team maximise business value from our Front Office systems landscape by baslining usage of our systems and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain the appropriate governance model for our Customer systems covering computer system validation, change control and regulation

KEY CHALLENGES

  • Build effective and strong working relationships with business colleagues in particular the Sales Directors and Supply Chain Directors, with the ability to influence and challenge high level stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate innovative vision in the creation and definition of 3 year systems Roadmap
  • Ensure the IS Customer systems roadmap is aligned with both Global IS and business priorities and falls within guidelines set by external regulatory bodies where appropriate.
  • Ensure the Regional Sales and Supply Chain Management Team's understand and actively support the implementation of the IS strategy as it relates to their regional/local remits.
  • Ensure all initiatives are supported by a sound business case and the business case is fully supported by the key stakeholders.
  • Ensure the IS Customer Team is developed in such a way as to support the Global IS Strategy.
  • Actively contribute to the development and implementation of overall Global IS Strategy
  • Ensure that we have the appropriate support models in place to meet the business expectations of our systems.
  • Lead the readiness activities for any deployment of new systems
  • Managing the demands for new solutions short to medium whilst maintaining a longer term IS Strategy
