*Credit Risk - Counterparty Controller*

Credit Risk - Counterparty Controller wanted for our well established Financial services client in Glasgow. The ideal candidate MUST come from a Credit Risk background and have experience in Counterparty.

Purpose of role:

  • will be responsible for the counterparty credit risk engine metrics relating to counterparties sanctioned by the risk managers. They will analyse the output of the engines and ensure timeliness, accuracy and completeness through preventative and remedial action. They will also explain risk moves and provide expert analysis to wide range of internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the accurate interpretation of published risk information and optimal decision making.

Essential skills:

  • Very good knowledge of various Counterparty Risk metrics and mitigants such as PFE, EEPE, CSAs and netting.
  • Very Good knowledge of Derivative products such as Interest Rate Swaps and Options
  • Ability to demonstrate a strong leadership capability through the work they have done in the past and show that they are able to motivate and inspire those around them
  • Perform under pressure and be as comfortable alone as they are in a team
