Butler Rose is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a high profile International business based in Poole for a Finance Process Manager.

Working for a highly reputable and industry leading consumer led business this role will involve global travel and as such offers a great opportunity to explore sites across Europe, Asia, USA and Australia.

This role will work closely with IT as the Finance global work stream lead, supported by a team of finance business analysts, to understand current finance processes and how to transition to new finance processes with the roll out of our new global operations system, ensuring financial control and management reporting continue to be delivered

Key responsibilities:

  • Advising and gaining support from senior finance stakeholders on progress, key issues and risks, through regular updates and formal discussions
  • Ensure changes in scope are documented and approved by senior finance stakeholders
  • Manage, prioritise and mitigate finance issues and risks
  • Documenting the finance integration points to the end to end process in line with IFRS, where appropriate incorporating any local legal requirements
  • Demonstrates a clear commitment to achieving high standards of finance customer service
  • Ensure clear finance communications are in place before, during and after go live
  • Work with the IT Programme Manager to ensure resources and timelines are deliverable
  • Ensure adequate training is provided to finance staff in line with the roll out
  • Ensure adequate finance acceptance testing is in place to sign off migration to a live environment
  • Conduct Lessons Learned for finance and recommendations, demonstrate utilised in subsequent roll outs
  • Complete weekly progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations.

The successful candidate will be fully Qualified (or equivalent level), ideally a graduate with experience of finance system delivery and change management including requirements gathering, gap anlaysis, solution design, testing and delivery.

You will be a team player, ideally be a proven leader and have the ability to work as a conduit between finance and IT and to accept ownership and drive through solutions. This role will requite travel to both UK and international sites and as such diplomacy, flexibility, self motivation and confidence to deliver training and support to a range of stakeholders are essential criteria.

Candidates should be able to commit to a minimum 6 month contract and have both the energy and commitment to ensure success in this business critical role.
