Description
A Renewable Energy client is looking for x3 Consultants working as WTG Commissioning Supervisor for their offshore wind farm project for surveillance of offshore commissioning works, to report progress status, to conduct quality inspections and to register findings (HSE, Quality). This is anticipated to be a 10.5 month freelance contract starting from approx. 17th April 2017 with the possibility of extending further thereafter. The rotation for this role will normally be 12hrs per day, 2 weeks on/2 weeks off duty with accommodation on board vessel.Responsibilities:
- Monitor the commissioning activities.
- Ensure that outstanding works and quality issues are detected and reported.
- Monitor mechanical and electrical completion.
- Ensure that work is carried out in compliance with project HSE rules and local legislation.
- Ensure that the work is organised and done according to the commissioning manual.
- Ensure that tests are carried out and commissioning work documented according to rules, procedures and templates.
- Ensure that progress of commissioning is reported in daily progress reports.
- To contribute to proactive management, good coordination and communication between all parties performed in effective processes.
- Minimum 3 years. work experience within wind power and/or commissioning.
- Minimum 1 year experience from working in similar position.
- Must have all valid GWO certificates for working offshore.
- Siemen 6.0 MW V-154 experience beneficial.
- Experience in quality inspecting of wind turbines.
- Experience user of MS Office (Excel).
- Must be able to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
The Consultant must bring his/her own PC with MS Office 2007 software or newer and mobile telephone this should be iPhone 4S, 5C, 5S, 6 or 6+ or Windows phone 8.1
The Consultant must have his/her or own PPE equipment.
