The Client
My client, a leading transport organisation, is currently looking for a Risk and Value Analyst to join them on a 6 Month initial contract in either London or York.
The Role
- Deliver R&VM specialist support services as directed by their line manager and in accordance with R&V Plans and the IP ER&VM Framework
- Quantitative Cost &/or Schedule Risk Analyses
- Risk Identification/review workshops/risk reporting
- Value Management studies
- Technical briefings & mentoring of project teams in R&V Management
- Carry out Level 1 assurance activities as specified by their line manager
- Mentor and support junior members of the R&VM team
- Support R&VM processes in other departments and areas of the business.
- Drive the implementation of R&VM framework across their area, including actively enhancing the R&VM maturity and culture development
- Comply with all relevant processes
Job Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Expert in all aspects of project and business risk management facilitation
- Able to build risk models in a number of applications, which accurately represent the complexities of cost, schedule and business risk
- Able to coach and challenge management and non specialists, the results of risk management
- Be classed as a Practitioner in all Leadership Competencies or with the capability to attain this level within a defined period.
- Membership of the Institute of Risk Management or Association for Project Management Risk Practitioner
- Membership of the Institute of Value Management
- Experience in project management processes and procedures
