Role Overview
- The Project Manager has the overall responsibility for managing the execution of SMART Finance projects (ERP Alignment, MDG, FDM, a.o.) in scope of the ERP, ensuring that the projects are delivered on time and budget, for the defined scope, quality of deliverables in line with the defined SMART Finance Framework.
- The project has duration of 2 to 3 years to deploy all defined solutions.
Scope:
- Coordinate and manage implementation team (internal or external) and ensure it delivers on time, budget and scope with utmost level of quality for the defined deliverable throughout the different project phases
- Identifies and ensures resolution of potential issues & risks and reports/escalates to defined Program Governance bodies within SMART when needed.
- Develops and updates all PM related deliverables throughout the different project phases in line with overall SMART Project Execution Framework (project charter, stakeholder register, project plan, staffing plan, project budget, risk register, issue log, etc)
- Identifies stakeholders and manages their expectations.
- Communicates, Supports and coordinates with Finance Business Process/Change Manager Counterpart at ERP level to ensure Finance user community is clear on the project activities to take place throughout the different phases and are executed when required.
- Contributes as well to ensuring that appropriate finance business processes and procedures are well established following the new solutions implemented in the ERP or overall IS landscape.
- Add IPO BRM (local proximity, transverse view... to identify potential risk and conflicts with other projects
Experience -
- Minimum 10 years' experience in SAP project related roles, progressively assuming Project and People Management roles (minimum 5 years)
- Demonstrated experience in implementing ERP solutions for Finance within the context of large and complex multinational organisations
- Desirable: experience in SAP full cycle Implementation methodology (design, build, test, go-live, support) and experience in the SAP FICO modules
This role will require extensive travel to Germany
