Description

A leading technology business is looking for an ambitious and driven Interim Financial Controller to join an expanding team supporting the businesses rapid growth.

Reporting directly into the CFO, the Financial Controller will play a critical role in supporting the day to day management of the Finance team.

Key responsibilities

  • Payroll - Compile monthly leavers/joiners/amendments list (with HR)
  • Payment Runs - Check all invoices for coding and approval
  • Cashflow - review cashflow and plan for any upcoming commitments
  • Management Accounts - Review all postings (nominal codes and departments) for correctness
  • Quarterly - Review and reconcile VAT return/Budget reforecasting
  • Audit - Liaise with external parties on all audit-related issues

Key Skills & Experience:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
  • Fantastic people skills with the ability influence at Director level and C-Suite stakeholders
  • Exceptional analytical skills coupled with good strategic business understanding leading to key business insight
  • An appreciation of best practice financial accounting standards, policies, processes and systems
  • A commercially astute individual with the ability to improve the efficiency and profitability of a business
