(CIMA,Prince 2,Audit, SC Cleared)Our defence client is seeking a CIMA qualified Management Accountant, you will provide analysis and support to the project and provide the relevant reporting and contribute to the management accounts process as required. Candidates will have extensive accounting experience within the defence sector.
Please note due to the highly secure nature of the projects and the time the client wishes to on board, current SC is highly desired.
You will be required to:
- Support in completing all reporting requirements
- Review accounting and financial processes
- Assist in the formulation of internal controls and policies to comply with legislation and established best practices
- Help in development of reports for management or regulatory bodies
- Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis
- Development of robust financial modelling techniques including identifying trends for decision making and analysis
- CIMA qualification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of basic business finance
- Strong analytical skills
- Good numeracy skills
- Understanding of data analysis and forecasting
