Description

Mission
The Salesforce Engineer is in charge of the daily operational management of the SalesForce applications
The Salesforce Engineer will also be responsible to put in place a controlled release management system based on tools & the Salesforce best practices for executing release Management among the different Salesforce sandbox branches.

List of activities
-Responsible for keeping the Salesforce applications up and running, as per the service level agreements
-Manage support tickets (second and third line)
-Supporting security standards
-Responsible to ensure that the standards & governance principles of the Salesforce Applications are followed
-Participate in the Change Management process
-Ensure that support documentation is kept up to date
-Propose improvements
-Ensuring follow up of quality issues
-Responsible for version management

-Provide support to larger projects and programs
-Daily operational management of the IT Salesforce Operatonal Team
-Salesforce System Overview
-Scheduled Jobs overviews
-Salesforce general monitoring

COMPETENCES
-Advance Admin Salesforce certification
-Strong technical skills with deep knowledge of Salesforce release management and tools
-Good Cloudsense & RemedyForce knowledge
-Excellent knowledge on ITIL
-Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
-Strong ability to work under pressure and in a stressful environment
-High flexibility and ability to cope with non-standard working hours when required to solve critical operational issues

Background
-The ideal candidate has a university degree in exact sciences (preferably economy or IT) or has gained equivalent knowledge by relevant work experience
-The ideal candidate has 5 years of work experience in Salesforce & multi branch release management
-The ideal candidate is business proficient in Dutch, French and English
