Description

We are looking for one "PeopleSoft Developer (HR Education Grant)" to start ASAP a 50 days contract (initial, extensions possible) in ROME (internat. Org'-client = EN-speaking environment). Our client is a world-famous international Organisation and a great reference in any CV!

At a Glance: You will extend the functionality of the existing custom module within PeopleSoft HCM. Our client built a custom module within their PeopleSoft HCM which provides self-service functionality to request education related benefits. New rules are now applicable to those benefits and must be reflected in the module.

TASKS

You will extend the functionality of the existing custom module within PeopleSoft HCM:

  • Change the rules applicable for future requests for Education grants
  • Preserve current rules to apply for closing 2016 requests and implement transitional measures
  • Notification to recipients of payments through Global Payroll
  • Reporting and queries related to the module
  • SKILLS

    Qualification and experience

    • University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related discipline with at least five years of professional work experience in PeopleSoft development.
    • Experience of both designing and executing technical solutions from business requirements.
    • Experience of data analysis.
    • Experience of being lead and sole technical resource on a PeopleSoft project and working with non-PeopleSoft professionals.
    • Ability to document technical projects.
    • Experience of running and supporting user acceptance testing, including writing test scenarios

    Technical Requirements:

    • Experience with PeopleSoft HCM and Financials
    • Extensive knowledge of Workforce Administration and Job data: functional and technical
    • Basic functional knowledge of Global Payroll, including the Supporting Elements
    • Experience with People Tools 8.5x, including expert knowledge of PeopleCode, Application packages and Integration Broker.
    • Experience with SQL on Oracle database
    • Data analysis experience, especially in PeopleSoft HCM
    • Reporting tools such as query and XML Publisher

    Languages

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English essential.
