Supply Chain and Quality Operational Support Specialist - 10 months contract - Filton Bristol
A leading Client of Modis is looking for a Supply Chain and Quality Operational Support Specialist who will be responsible to ensure that the commodity Supply Chain and Quality within scope is sufficient to meet all the Client's current needs.
The Supply Chain and Quality Operational Support Specialist will ensure plans to meet future program needs, ensuring achievements of annual Supply Chain and Quality targets are met.
In the first instance the Supply Chain and Quality Operational Support Specialist will be tasked with working in conjunction with the team to re-engineer the business processes, reporting and diary alignment. The objective being to create a high value and impact review structure resulting in a communication-rich environment with relevant roles and responsibilities in relation to this model clearly understood and respected by all.
Supply Chain and Quality Operational Support Specialist main activities- Support business's supplier's compliance with Airbus and appropriate Aviation Authorities requirements (EN9100, NADCAP)
- Gather and analyze KPIs ie D1 and Concessions etc for POSW Governance ensuring achievement of Supply Chain targets
- Meet the task/project milestones where applicable
- Identify any Risks and escalate to Management Team
- Manage and Conduct regular reviews with team,
- Conduct regular reviews with the team members to ascertain the level of customer satisfaction
- Support develop/collaboration of new ways of working
- Support SOM in supplier assessment activities if required (CCP, IPCA)
- Support SOM in creation, perform and documentation of Supplier assessments if required (SCR)
- Support and influence of modification processes (for example transfer of work etc.)
- Support appropriate mitigation and action plans in place with Suppliers if required
- Support capability/capacity at suppliers if required
The Supply Chain and Quality Operational Support Specialist will support the management team to ensure achievement of commodity quality & supply chain targets incl. appropriate risk mitigation action plans. The Supply Chain and Quality Operational Support Specialist will ensure the right level of internal/external customer satisfaction. UK Travel will be required.
Supply Chain and Quality Operational Support Specialist skills & Qualifications- Data Analyst Skills
- In depth IT experience gained using Microsoft Office based packages
- Auditing/Assessing
- Supply Chain fundamentals
- Able to take ownership and self manage
- Strong communications skills relating to Interact and Influence
- Monitor new product/service process
- Supplier evaluation and development
- Ideally experience of using SAP & interrogate data and output to spread sheets, graphs etc
- Experience of Manufacturing is desirable
