Next Ventures are currently recruiting for a SAP Test Manager to join a global end-client in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Start: Mid-April/1st of May 2017
Duration: 8 months initially - Option for extension

SAP Test Manager to manage and govern all testing activities in a major SAP rollout programme. The test manager will be working with the implementation team to coordinate all SIT and UAT testing.
Tasks:
- Accountable and responsible for development, implementation of a project test strategy in line with the overall A2B Test and Programme delivery approach along with R1.1 Project Manager and Xerox ESAP CC Test Architect.
- Own the development, management, execution and monitoring of the A/B Level Project Plan for Testing, ensuring delivering to project milestones
- Mobilise, manage and motivate the test team and other resources when required in testing activities, ensuring this team is adequately resourced and managed
- Manage requirements & deliverables throughout the project life cycle, prove coverage and appropriately highlight all assumptions in a risk based test scope
- Accountable for independent quality assurance of the solution.
- Overall R1.1 Project test strategy and standards
- Test planning and test process management
- Delivery of an independently proven functional, technical, operational and business solution with known coverage, success and issues
- Working with relevant internal and external quality and audit functions
Required competencies:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as SAP Test Manager
- Experience as SAP Test Manager in a central team of a Pan-European or Global SAP Roll-out programme
- Pharmaceutical industry experience and knowledge of GxP is preferred, but not a must
- Able to ensure ongoing liaison with Process Owners & Business users throughout the Build, Test and Final Preparation Phases to create progressive buy-in to Testing Delivery Outcomes. Knowledge of additional SAP testing technology (eg eCATT)
- Able to lead, coach & motivate a team of mixed Onshore/Offshore Resources and task manage resources owned by other teams/functions to deliver to the required Scope, Quality, Timelines & Budget.
- Able to clearly articulate necessary ways of working and behaviours to ensure entire team is positioned to meet deliverables.
- Ability to transpose 0 Level Plan into A, B & C Level plans.
- Able to articulate Forecast Progress Vs Actual Progress across all testing areas, identify progress deltas and report clear Progress Tracking at Project & Programme forums.
