Senior Procurement Officer - 3 months - Dunbarton
Exciting opportunity for a Senior Procurement Officer to work with a public sector client based in Dunbarton for an initial 3-month contract.
You will be supporting the ongoing development and implementation of a Procurement Improvement Plan, offering guidance and support to the team of Procurement Officers and providing sound advice and guidance relating to EU Procurement.
Essential skills:
- Experience of working in a procurement role within a regulated environment
- Experience in developing and implementing commodity strategies and/or commissioning plans
- Experience of carrying out an end to end procurement process
- Experience of preparing and managing tender documentation for both high value, complex and medium/high risk procurement requirements
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working with public sector or government organisations.
