Description
Senior SAS Programmer wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.Your experience/skills:
- 4+ years' working experience as Pharmaceutical SAS Programmer with proven experience using SAS in the analysis and the reporting of pharmaceutical data
- Strong background in database design / structures and CDISC data standards, as well as expertise in SAS including Base, Macro, Stat, ODS etc.
- Very good knowledge in the oncology therapeutic area and across all phases of trials and submissions
- Team player with high focus on quality and detail
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Programming according to specifications, analysis data sets, pooled data sets, listings, and figures for clinical trials and submission activities
- Assisting quality control and quality audit of deliverables as well as maintaining records for all assigned projects and archiving of trial / project analysis and associated documentation
- Developing Oncology Generic Programming Code according to specifications, following internal guidelines, with high quality and within milestones
- Reinforcing and implementing programming standardization besides enhancing programming environment and systems and establishing standard processing procedures
- Maintaining efficient interfaces with internal and external customers and communicating effectively across line functions as well as managing the testing of macros
- Coordinating programming activities across several trials with a given compound including publication and regulatory submissions activities
