NK178 Contract Manager, Banking, Brussels
Background
Contract Manager, you will manage the outsourcing contracts with our external IT Service Providers, in which you will ensure that the department obtains the best value for money.
You will be part of the Delivery Excellence Department in the division that delivers reliable and sustainable IT solutions for the financial securities markets to ensure the bank's competitiveness in the market.
The position is Brussels based and for a full time schedule.
You will be part of a team of 6 people.
The team is managing contracts with external IT Service Providers (not goods or people).
Your role is to:
Be the main point of contact between the service providers and the delivery teams.
Create, negotiate, operate and evaluate Statements of Work (SOWs) with the Service Providers.
Provide the Contract Administrator with accurate financial contract information.
Actively follow up the financial status of the deals.
Ensure that all the stakeholders know everything they need to know to take ownership of their outsourcing commitments
Ensure that our providers stick to the FrameWork contract and deliver on time and following our Terms and Conditions.
Take ownership of the contracts in your portfolio and ensure that issues and problems are solved through the correct governance channels
Author contract management process handbook for division specific needs.
Support the vendor management lead on process set up for communication around policies, procedures, roll outs related to CSDR
Support negotiation process for ADM specific CSPs (Critical service providers) related to CSDR
Define, Set up KPI/SLA process with the CSPs and roll out the process to follow them on regular basis

You know how to:
Write contracts in which you focus on improving contract terms and avoiding risks
Drive a hard negotiation while remaining respectful to all parties involved when managing Application Development/Testing and Maintenance outsourcing contracts
Build and maintain long-term business relationships with people across different divisions inside and outside of Euroclear
Deal with cross-cultural differences
Communicate with technical project teams
You have:
An interest in outsourcing services and/or off shoring related activities,
An understanding of commercial aspects and negotiation principles,
Previous experience in negotiating and managing Application Development/Testing and Maintenance outsourcing contracts,
Some experience in contract writing and/or improving the contract terms, you can recognize risks in a contractual context
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills in English (talking, writing and presenting)
Outstanding organisational and coordination skills to manage and prioritise work and initiatives under deadlines
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent project and process management skills where you use your eye for detail to its full potential
