Description
My client in North Brussels is looking for Microsoft BI Developer to join their growing team.
Your objective is by working in close collaboration with senior analysts, to translate business requirements and high level functional analysis documentation towards intuitive DWH solutions, dashboards and reports. Besides, you are responsible for extending and improving our data integration services.
Your Role & Responsibilities:
Analytical Skills:
- You work in close collaboration with senior BI analyst
- Successful translation of business requirements and high level functional designs into concrete functional and technical design documentation
- Work closely with end users during development to track progress and discuss detailed requirements and design options.
- Work closely with other teams in order to understand and implement data integration requirements
Development:
- Depending on the project approach, work sprint based or waterfall methodology
- Implementation of ETL processes, based on Microsoft technology
- Extend existing DWH solutions with new requirements
- Build cubes, dashboards and reports
- Integration of test scenario's and detailed technical documentation
- Documentation of project deliveries into usable manuals for end users
- Train and support end users during testing and post go live to assure proper use and interpretation of the deliveries
Skills & Knowledge:
- You have an analytical mind-set and good communication skills
- Problem solving skills with focus on sustainable solutions
- Degree of higher education, preferably Master degree or equivalent through experience
- At least 5 years relevant experience in Microsoft BI technology (MS SQL, SSIS, SSAS, Power BI)
- Proven experience regarding DWH architecture and ETL
- Experience with other BI tools is a plus
Linguistic Skills:
- Dutch/French: fluent written & verbal
- English: good knowledge, written & verbal

- Contract start: Latest by
- Contract end: with possible extension (contract periods of 6 months)
