Global Brand Tracking Manager : Market Research: World Leading Oil & Gas Co

World Leading Global Energy Oil Company has an exciting opportunity for a Global Brand Tracking Manager to cover the Lead for two Global Brand Tracking Programs across the Retail and Lubricants businesses. The two programmes cover large scale multi-market (60+ and 30+ markets) brand tracking programs that deliver key insights to both Global and Local stakeholders which feed into strategic planning and ongoing business management.

Additionally they are currently in the process of refreshing and updating both Global Brand Tracking programs to pilot in H2 2017 ahead of full launch in 2018.

About the Role:

  • The main focus area is the change management plan
  • Work with business and suppliers to set up new program ahead of parallel run in H2 2017
  • Including initial comms plan to business and key stakeholders, work with suppliers to brief needs, guide business partners through the process to align the new survey structure
  • Work with business and suppliers to set up full study launch in 2018 including understanding implications of new study from parallel run and appropriate positioning to stakeholders and planning and creating launch program ahead of official program launch in 2018
  • Ensure existing trackers are delivered accurately on time and within budget
  • Direct management of four contractors and two suppliers to ensure existing programs continue to have business impact in 2017

Candidate skills/attributes:

  • Managing team of three across the two programs that lead daily interactions with the agency on timelines and deliverables management
  • Managing team member that will work with suppliers to set up the new programs
  • Extensive experience managing global brand trackers including set up, management and best practice implementation
  • Able to positively challenge the work of suppliers to ensure the highest standards in delivery
  • Exemplary quality standards and rigour
  • At least 15 years' experience in global research, brand tarcking including client side and agency side.

This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment.

You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
