COMAH Technical Author
A COMAH Technical Author with Munitions manufacturing experience is required to work on a twelve month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our Defence client based in Crewe.
This is a 12 month contract working with a leading UK defence company.
Overview of the COMAH Technical Author contract role
Within the scope of the role, as a Technical Author you will be responsible for support to all areas of Manufacturing Operations including, but not limited to review and update COMAH report documentation. Develop a manufacturing safety documentation suite in accordance with Engineering and Business requirements to ensure compliance with statutory legislation.
Key skills required for the COMAH Technical Author
- A high degree of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office.
- Have relevant experience as a Technical Author.
- Experience in the use of SAP is desirable.
- Have a sound understanding of manufacturing process and procedures.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
The role is based in Crewe - commutable from stoke-on Trent, Congleton, Nantwich and Newcastle-Under-Lyme.
