Manufacturing Engineer - Process Improvement, Cost Control and Lean/Six Sigma
A Manufacturing Engineer with Process Improvement, Cost Control and Lean/Six Sigma experience is required to work on a fourteen month contract with the possibility of extension for our Defence client based in Glasgow.
This is a 14-month contract with a leading UK defence business.
Overview of the Manufacturing Engineer contract role
My client is looking for 2 candidates with production or manufacturing engineering experience to work on OPV/T26 projects in Scotstoun.
Key skills required for the Manufacturing Engineer
- Process improvement experience
- An understanding of manufacturing methods and how they can be improved
- Some experience/awareness of cost management
- Lean/six sigma qualifications or equivalent experience
The role is based in Glasgow - Commutable from Kilmarnock, Paisley, Greenock, Stirling and Falkirk with excellent access from Edinburgh
