Risk Practitioner - ARM, SRA and CRA
A Risk Practitioner with ARM, SRA and CRA experience is required to work on a six month contract with the possibility of extension for our Defence client based in Telford.
This is a 6 month contract with a leading UK Defence Business.
Overview of the Risk Practitioner contract role
An opportunity has arisen within the Future Programmes Integrated Delivery Team for the role of Risk Manager. The successful candidate will be working on major multi-million pound Bids, Projects, Programmes and Portfolios. The role will involve working with a variety of exciting project teams as well as working with other partners and suppliers
To champion and facilitate the risk, opportunity and issue management process within the Future Programmes Integrated Delivery Team, demonstrating the value and benefits to be achieved through robust, effective and proactive risk management.
Key skills required for the Risk Practitioner
- Experience of using Enterprise Risk Management tools, for example, Active Risk Manager (ARM) or Predict! Controller.
- Experience in risk management principles including identification, assessment and analysis, including Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA) and Statistical Cost Risk Analysis (CRA).
- Good organisational, planning and prioritising skills. Ability to manage and prioritise the workload to ensure that all deadlines are met.
- Experience of facilitating risk meetings and leading discussions.
- Preferably educated to degree level or equivalent Risk Management professional qualification eg APM, IRM.
- Highly professional with ability to work in a challenging, diverse and evolving bid and project environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong team working skills are essential and collaborative working style.
- Self-motivated team player capable of working with limited supervision.
The role is based in Telford, Shropshire - commutable from Shrewsbury, Bridgnorth, Stourbridge, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Lichfield, Cannock, Stafford, Market Drayton, Whitchurch and Oswestry
