My client, a large global bank, are looking to hire a SOX manager to join their London offices on an initial 3 month contract with scope to extend beyond.
The SOX Senior Manager role is based within the Finance Department. This role is to support the Finance Control Officer to ensure that Sarbanes Oxley certification is completed in accordance with the Group Standards Manual, Operational Risk Framework Target Operating Model and the relevant Functional Instruction Manuals (FIMs) across the department.
Knowledge/Experience
- Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley legislation
- Comprehensive understanding of risk management and proven experience of ensuring own/others' compliance with relevant regulatory processes
- Experience working in relevant environment/s, ie strong finance background, with experience of audit and Sarbanes Oxley legislation.
- Experience working in Operational Risk is desirable but not essential
- Experience in process mapping and risk and control identification
- A track record of constantly looking for ways to do things better and an excellent understanding of the mechanism necessary to successfully implement change
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
- Built effective networks both internally and externally and created opportunities for others to work collaboratively Qualification
- Professional qualifications such as ACA/CIMA/ACCA
The role is paying around £ per day.
