Management Accountant - ACCA/CIMA/ACA - Oracle - 6-month contract
An exciting new opportunity has become available for one of ERGs Global Telecoms Clients. A Management Accountant is required to join the business supporting the Finance Manager, based in Hampshire. The Management Accountant will provide support to the operational business, building strong and collaborative relationships to ensure financial best practice. To be successful the Management Accountant will be a proactive self-starter and possess the ambition and determination to achieve goals and objectives together with the organisation and perseverance to deliver both simple and complex tasks to a high standard. Coupled with this, will be the ability to be proactive using sound initiative to deliver quality driven financial solutions and taking ownership within all aspects of the role. The main responsibility of the Management Accountant is the preparation of monthly management accounts, forecasts and budgets for all business operations.
The role is on a 6-month contract basis with the view of extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production of monthly management accounts delivered to tight deadlines.
- Manage month end process.
- Help with budget preparation.
- Help with forecast preparation.
- Have a key say in decision making.
To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and experience:
- A fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) essential
- Excellent spreadsheet skills and similar competence in the use of all Microsoft software essential
- Knowledge of Oracle would also be advantageous as would previous financial experience gained within a similar company
