Description
Clinical Distribution Manager with excellent communication skills and project management knowledge wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.Your experience/skills:
- Several years of project management experience in large scale multinational companies, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Expertise in working with SAP
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Planning and coordinating Drug Supply Activities at Trial Level, whereby ensuring that a trial-level project plan is developed together with all relevant roles and progress is appropriately tracked
- Safeguarding clear communication and alignment between clinical needs and clinical supply planning after study start and hand-over
- Identifying, assessing and communicating risks together with potential and adequate mitigation strategies for Interactive Response Technologies (IRT) setup and distribution of supply to all relevant stakeholders along with adequate mitigation strategies to assure supply continuity for all patients
- Supporting internal / external inspections and audits, creating and executing an optimal resupply strategy and generating optimal distribution plans for investigational medical products considering aspects such as optimal lot size, costs and overages
- Triggering and tracking shipments of clinical trial supplies from central depot to regional hubs and local depots as well as following up with distribution vendors and local hub / depot contacts as required
- Defining the study's IRT user requirement specifications, reviewing and updating the IRT supply parameters periodically over study lifetime to convoy the availability of clinical supplies based on actual study conduct, optimizing overage and distribution costs
