Senior Global Brand Development Manager - Marketing

Background:

This is an unparalleled Senior Brand Manager opportunity for an individual who wants a stretching role on a flagship brand at a key moment in the category's development for the client.
This unique global marketing role will provide a wide scope for project management, creative development, and multi-channel multi-market exposure across both innovation & communication, with key strategic deliverables.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Drive key innovation and communications projects with a global focus to deliver the growth agenda for the client
  • Deliver breakthrough product innovations for the brand by leading and motivating cross-functional teams and agency partners.
  • Lead all areas of mix development throughout the project life cycle, from concept development, comms origination and development to capability building.
  • Support the team on longer term strategic development of activity plans & innovation funnel: identifying opportunities for growth in existing & new geographies
  • Develop differentiated language, strong claims & communications for the brand by working closely with CMI, R&D and creative agencies to identify opportunities to take comms to the next level.
  • Engage with the full global brand community by fostering a spirit of co-creation and collaboration between global and local teams, bringing an entrepreneurial and challenger mindset to the brand.

  • Global Brand Development Director and VP
  • Global cross-functional teams including R&D, Supply Chain, and Finance
  • Local teams in top markets
  • Global agency partners across Design, Advertising, PR, Digital and Media

Skills/Experience/Qualifications:

  • Interest in personal care with a passion for beauty and skincare!
  • Strong experience in Marketing, in particular Brand Development.
  • Strong eye for beauty and aesthetic detail to deliver premium assets across media channels
  • Global mindset: natural curiosity for understanding different perspectives and comfortable collaborating with teams across cultures and time-zones.
  • Proven record in Project Management, successfully managing multiple projects, fast-track timings and building high performing, often virtual, cross-functional project teams.
  • Proven track record in launching global innovation and developing communication, combining strategic thinking with a creative mindset.
  • Excellence in storytelling and influencing (verbal & written skills).
  • Strong organizational understanding and ability to align & manage a large network of senior stakeholders
  • Self-starter capable of working independently, holding self and others accountable.
  • Business acumen, analytical thinking & rigour.
