Pensions Administrator - Income Drawdown/SIPP
Our leading client is looking for a junior pensions administrator/junior income drawdown administrator To provide efficient and effective administration of the company's Income Drawdown products. You will need To ensure that FCA and HMRC regulations are recognised and adhered to by all parties and to ensure that all customers are treated fairly, in accordance with FCA TCF regulations.
We are looking experience in some of the following:
- Financial Services background with an understanding of pension legislation
- Knowledge of Pension Administration
- Previous experience in Pension Income Drawdown Administration and SIPP administration
- Previous experience is an FCA regulated environment
- Organised with good attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to rapidly acquire new knowledge
- Ability to work well as part of a team
As a pensions administrator, you will be responsible for:
- Liaising with customers by telephone, email, online and in writing when required.
- Processing new business and on-going servicing tasks including payment of pension income.
- Recording all transactions on a daily basis to ensure that maintained records are current and correct
- Prioritising and organising daily workload, to include; new business, payment of Pension Commencement Lump Sum and drawdown income, HMRC and FCA reporting and death claims
- Preparation of Annual Benefit Statements
- Identify and report deadline issues to the Line Manager
- Continuously deliver improvements in new business processing and in your personal development
- Maintain awareness of industry and regulatory changes
