SQL Technical Business Analyst Dublin 6-18 Months.
My client a global tier 1 bank is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Technical Business Analyst with strong SQL skills to join them on a rolling contract.
This role is working in the Prime Brokerage area of my clients business, it is not essential to have this product knowledge but certainly helps. Candidates will operate as part of a global team delivering technology solutions to support a range of major, high priority regulatory and business driven initiatives. You will partner with Business, Development, QA and UAT teams - both within the group and in external teams. You will requirements gathering and document Functional Specs, Use cases, Data Flows. You will also support QA and UAT efforts.
Candidates will have around 5-7 years of commercial business/data analysis experience ideally working in the financial services space, but if not then a good aptitude to pick it up. It is an absolute must for candidates to have excellent SQL skills and data analysis skills. So my client is not expecting you to work to developer level but you will know how to query data, have experience with Stored procedures, understand difference between joins, tables and triggers and indexes.You will have experience of project life cycle; Also experience in an Agile development environment.
