Enterprise Architect

Mission
The Infrastructure Domain Manager of IMS is responsible for the daily operational management of his/her infrastructure portfolio and ensures that the portfolio is fully supported and evolving with the business strategy
The Infrastructure Domain Manager is accountable for sustaining the conceptual intigrity of the portfolio, ie ensuring quality, long-term operability, flexibility of the infrastructure and knowledge continuity
The Infrastructure Domain Manager supervises and supports the delivery of infrastructure changes in relation to his/her infrastructure portfolio, at the right cost

LIST of activities
Be involved to convert the demand related to his/her infrastructure portfolio into solutions together with the business, the business relationship manager, the architect, and the change and delivery counterparts in co-creation mode
Support project delivery by:
Providing Infrastructure expertise in order to guide the design of the solution implemented
Validating the infrastructure design from the architects and projects
Insuring that the standards and governance principles for the IT infrastructure are followed
Identify and manage overlaps with other projects impacting the same infrastructure
Supporting the change and release management processes
Ensuring that the right level of documentation and training is provided by the project
Operate and maintain his/her infrastructure portfolio by:
Building of the Service Catalogue and SLA's for his/her infrastructure portfolio in co-creation mode with Service Management
Providing second and third line support in co-creation mode with other support partners (internal and suppliers)
Ensuring quality, maintainability and knowledge continuity (hand-over, documentation, training, sourcing, etc.)
Ensuring the delivery of corrective maintenance and evolutive maintenance to keep the portfolio sustainable
Supporting the change and release management processes
Monitoring capacity, availability and performance of the IT infrastructure
Reporting and ensuring follow up of quality issues
Managing partnership third parties involved
Enforcing security standards for both infrastructure and information
Implementing version management
Actively pursue TCO reduction initiatives by improving efficiency on licenses management, ticketing, decommissioning efforts, etc.

Service Level Agreements for his/her infrastructures portfolio
Infrastructure maintenance, support, knowledge retention and continuity

COMPETENCES
Strong technical skills with deep knowledge of Infrastructure management methods and tools
Experience in allocated portfolio of infrastructure
Knowledge of ITIL
Excellent people skills including strong communication and negotiation skills, analytical skills, strong interpersonal and management skills
Strong inspirational leadership skills
Strong ability to work under pressure and in a stressful environment
High flexibility and ability to cope with non-standard working hours when required to solve critical operational issues

Background
The ideal candidate has a university degree in exact sciences (preferably economy or IT) or has gained equivalent knowledge by relevant work experience
The ideal candidate has 10-15 years of work experience in IT (IT Infrastructure maintenance and managing people)
The ideal candidate is business proficient in Dutch, French and English
