Description

An excellent opportunity for a technical Group Reporting Manager to join an exciting FMCG business. Based in Berkshire, you will be required for 12-18 months to integrate the group consolidation process from a combination of Excel and Cognos Controller, onto Cognos Controller entirely.

As the Group Reporting Manager, your role will entail but not limited to the following:

  • In addition to regular forecasting, producing KPI reports, budgets and 3 year plans for many management reporting entities, you will be accountable for the consolidated, multicurrency monthly management accounts and reports.
  • You will be the Finance lead for the Cognos Controller integration and therefore you will continually optimise the use of it, enabling its wider business use. During this integration, you will utilise external specialists, as well as in house expertise.
  • To support the business' growing needs, you will create new reports, as well as developing existing reports.
  • You will produce accurate and timely consolidation of group financial results on both a regular and an ad hoc basis. You will also provide support to the Head of Finance in preparation of statutory accounts.

As the Group Reporting Manager, you will need to be a Qualfied Accountant, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent. You will need to have experience implementing Cognos Controller and unrivalled knowledge, both working and administration; you must also be able to utilise proficient Excel skills. As the Group Reporting Manager, it is crucial that you have experience in consolidation in a multicurrency environment and it is also essential that you have good knowledge of FRS102.
