Radar Transceiver System Project Manager

My client is looking to recruit a Radar Transceiver Manager join their Automotive Radar team.

  • The Radar transceiver project is multi site organized with teams in Eindhoven, Hamburg, Nijmegen, Bangalore.
  • For this Radar Transceiver project we are looking for a System Project manager, managing the Project core team and taking responsibility for the schedule, the budget and quality of the product.
  • You will have experience managing projects in excess of $30m

Suitable candidates require the following experience;

  • Experience in Semiconductor and/or Electronic design industry, preferably in RFCMOS/mmWave SoC design, Embedded Software design, Innovation- and/or Product Development projects
  • Proven experience in managing Automotive R&D (PRE) projects and Multi-site- and Multicultural project teams
  • Proven knowledge and experience of managing ADAS-/Car2x-communication- and/or Radar projects in an Automotive or military environment (Reliability-, Safety- aspects)
  • University degree in electrical engineering or similar technical studies
  • Ideally PMP/PMI certification or other adequate project management qualification
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills (Internal-, External Interfaces)
  • Your Responsibilities

    • Global/System Projectmanagement of Radar Transceiver Project, managing Project Core team
    • Effective Design Partner- and Supplier relations, includes Communication and Delivery of service.
    • Manage/Drive subsystem projects from initial concept, specification, design and test
    • Fully integrated Project plans, in full alignment with the project team, design partners and integration project
    • Achieves project goals by effectively applying necessary expertise/resources.
    • Balancing cost, schedule, quality while meeting project requirements
    • Stakeholder-management by reporting on regular project performance status, variances to plan and identification of corrective action(s).
    • Co-ordinates between sub-projects, design partners and the integration projects, maximizes the synergy and resolves resource conflicts.
    • Contribution to time to market and team improvement activities in the team
