Civils Project Manager
Reigate
£50k + Package
Experienced Manager from a Construction/Civil Background is required to monitor full stage of construction and implementation of temporary structures from initial client contact to maintenance and handover. You must have strong contract performance and compliance to all hard services requirements across private and commercial contracts across the UK.
Qualifications and Training required
Relevant Trade Qualifications or Apprenticeship
Educated to City & Guilds, ONC, or HNC level in either electrical or mechanical
Sound knowledge and understanding of working in the M&E, structural and Civil environments
Technical background, preferably mechanical or civil engineering
Undertake simple technical calculations - wind forces, ground anchor stress loading
Proven ability to manage and supervise teams of installation technicians - both own employees and sub-contractors
Knowledge of site health & safety and risk assessments
AutoCAD and MS Office skills
Good customer facing skills and well-presented including written and verbal communication skills (high net worth clients)
Commercially minded - understand margins and costs
Entrepreneurial - Current owners are moving towards retirement and offering management team an MBO opportunity
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio etc.)
Understanding of Written Schemes of Examination and Design Drawings
Familiarity with relevant regulatory, legislative requirements and British Standards as applicable
