Description
The role is for an 'End to End Architect' who should be able to design at a high level the end to end Architecture and solution to support the requirements below and allow my clients teams create a saleable Product for the designated country.
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Define, design and document IT business solutions, delivering Business Solution Architecture (BSA) document, corresponding UML artefacts (ie Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, Use Cases) and Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) in support of documenting the program/project scoped IT business solution.
- Ensure that the solution architecture is compliant and aligned to the published Enterprise Architecture blueprints and product, technology and infrastructure roadmaps. Direct a design change control to ensure that all changes are considered in relation to the end-to-end design baseline. Ensure that the solution is aligned to defined scope but also positioned for future requirements.
- Review and approve design artefacts for the IT business solution (ie Functional Designs, Technical Designs, Interface Specifications, Data Mappings etc.), liaising with cross functional teams to achieve high quality designs.
- Co-operate with the Enterprise Architects on definition of the E2E architecture to assure the integrity, robustness and efficiency of the future E2E solutions. Identify opportunities to increase reusability and maximise cost synergies.
The person will need to identify skilled resources within the company and discuss potential solutions before documenting the agreed solution.
- As part of a project manager led team the person will lead the technical solution, acting as a single point of contact for all technical queries and questions.
- Ideally the person should have Service Provider experience and have a good level of technical knowledge of general Data communications including specific technical understanding of WiFi (standards and implementations) and Security (standards and implementations).
- A general understanding of IT systems and how these are used in an End to End customer journey Potential initial countries for specific design are the UK & Germany.
- WiFi for SoHo - summary of requirements: A simple, ideally zero-touch, hospitality Wi-Fi solution, enabling guest Wi-Fi/SSID, simple reporting, drag&drop (zero IT) customizations.
- Allowing up to 3 SSID and up to 5 APs to be combined with the offer, which shall always be associate to B2B broadband subscriptions. Integration into BSS/OSS shall be kept to a minimum initially to accelerate TTM. VAS components (dashboard, reporting, customer-portal ) can be adapted from the existing country model and later developed further and insourced.
