Cognos Developer (4 days per week) - The Netherlands
Languages: ENGLISH only
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelors degree and relevant academic training such as Computer Science
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a developer
- Knowledge and experience in data warehouses, data marts and data vault methodology
- Knowledge and experience in data model and relevant tools, toad
- Knowledge and experience of and ability to program in SQL and HTML/Javascript
- Knowledge and experience with IBM Cognos 10 is a plus:
- BI Report Studio: Author Professional Reports Fundamentals (basic and advanced)
- Cognos 8 BI Framework Manager: Design Metadata Models
- IBM Cognos 8 or 10 BI Administration
- Knowledge and experience in creating and developing KPIs dashboards
- Interface between automation of processes, data quality and providing information products
Description of work:
- Realize reports and dashboards using the reporting tool Cognos
- Build new reports based on the specifications provided or customize existing reports
- Work according to agreed standards and policies, coordinating activities with colleagues
- Identify problems and recommend proactive solutions
- Report to the senior staff of the department
