Interim Group Financial Controller
I am currently looking for an Interim Group Financial Controller to lead, develop and take ownership of the delivery of group financial reporting and monitoring.
The role has a focus on driving sustainable business performance through the provision of robust, impactful and insight led information and will work closely with other members of the senior management team.
The business is going through a period of change and we require somebody that is comfortable in a fast paced and changing environment.
Skills Required
- Significant experience and proven track record delivering outstanding and insightful financial reporting in a regulated environment - consumer finance preferred
- Proven track record in building/optimising processes, financial controls and reporting in a regulated industry
- Educated to degree level with relevant accountancy qualifications (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and significant Post Qualification Experience (PQE).
- Significant experience of and outstanding leadership skills in mentoring, coaching and managing teams at all levels
- Proven track record managing a range of 3rd party relationships particularly with banking providers and Auditors
- Extensive knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and ability to lead any changes that arise within the current IFRS standards and the ability manage this across the team and the business.
- Extensive experience of operating and managing relationships at a senior level
- Proven ability to multitask, deliver exceptional results and motivate others in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
