Job Description:
Key Responsibilities - baseline work:
Work independently gathering user requirements.
Reviews functional specifications for new applications and upgrades.
Assists with the creation of functional specifications.
Interacts with business users and software vendors to troubleshoot installation and implementation issues.
Develops and applies change management approach based on situation awareness of the details of the change and the groups being impacted
by the change.
Identifies potential risks, resistance and performance gaps related to applications and work to develop and implement specific corrective
actions/plans to mitigate or address the concerns.
Participates on Incident, Problem, Change, Rerelease and Configuration management process executions & follows up.
Communicates problems and problem resolutions to upstream support levels to improve ongoing services delivery.
Maintains documentation of configurations and changes.
Conducts orientation to new users regarding applications of software.
Assists users to isolate possible problems in software after implementation.
Coordinates with the application vendor/development team to resolve problems and trouble tickets
Tests and controls changes in the production environment.
Works with project/scrum teams to integrate change management activities into the overall project plan.
Is responsible for update of CMDB Application section.
Pursue continuous improvement of data quality, standardization of data management processes, efficiency, and quality of service.
Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of internal/source information system modules, structure and data.
Required Background:
University or high-school degree, or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent
combination of education and experience.
Minimal 2 years experiences in financial institution IT department.
1 + years experience in a lead IT Specialist role, working on complex projects.
2 + years experience in IT Technologies.
2 + years of interacting with users.
Experience with Application Servers architecture.
Basic SQL for reports
Excellent technical, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills required.
Fluent English both spoken and written.
Banking experience
Basic network troubleshooting
Knowledge of application troubleshooting on Win & Linux
DevOps experience advantage
Softskills: Analytical thinking, customer orientated, independent, goal oriented, fluent English
