Senior Fund Accountant
We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Fund Accountant to work for a major Investment management business in central London. We are looking for a senior fund accountant who is a property/
real estate expert.
Senior Fund Accountant Responsibilities:
- Work with operations management team, property fund managers and proposition team to ensure the provision of industry standard fund accounting to the business.
- Owning and managing risk within the property operating model from an oversight perspective.
- Overseeing an outsourced property accounting and fundaccountingTPA relationship
- Provide fund accounting oversight on property fund valuations
- Provide oversight on production of interim and annual financial statements.
- Taking funds through annual audit process.
- Work and negotiate effectively with 3rd party service providers.
- Work with change managers to develop operational infrastructure and new processes to support new property
Senior Fund Accountant Experience/skill set:
- Qualified Accountant ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA
- Extensive experience of UK/European property fund structures (eg PAIF/PUT/JPUT and others) and UK regulatory environments (UCITS & NURS/QIS OEICs).
- Technical accounting skills (UK GAAP, IFRS, Fund Pricing and accounting).
- Experience managing senior internal and external stakeholders
- Experience of pricing a property fund.
- Any experience of working with Tax transparent funds, sicavs or Nurs (highly desirable)
