Commercial Manager - Contract - Warwickshire - 1 Year
Amoria Bond are working exclusively with a top 10 construction contractor to find an MEP Commercial Manager to be based in the Warwickshire area for a minimum of 1 year, likely to extend up to 3 years. The project is for a well known client in the Automotive sector.
Key requirements for this position:
- A minimum level of 8 years experience working within commercial functions
- Management experience (Teams of 2 or more) - Would also look at a Senior QS with management experience.
- Proven track record working on M&E projects
- Experience managing/commercially managing projects valued at a minimum of £10M
- Experience working on JCT & NEC contract forms
- Managing change & subcontract accounts
Key responsibilities include:
- Provision of guidance & advice on valuation of work in progress and future projections
- Identifying, communicating, development & training the needs of staff
- Providing staff with support & guidance on their job responsibilities
- Negotiating with sub-contractors, clients representatives and other consultants
- Consult on contractual implications of intended courses of action
- When appointed, undertake the integrated role of package manager on a project
- Provide commercial and contractual support to work winning
- Advise on commercial risks within the project or projects
- Preparation of monthly contract review reports
- Preparation of monthly management accounts information
- Preparation of contractual and commercial input into project business plan
- Adopt appropriate measures for management of risk
- Form an integral part of the multidisciplinary team responsible for project delivery and client service
