Manufacturing Engineer - East Midlands - Contract
Amoria Bond are searching for a Manufacturing Engineer to work with one of our biggest clients in the East Midlands. You would be working with a major blue chip organisation on a brand new project, the contract will be on a 6 month rolling basis with the project due to last 18 months. You will be expected to show a high level of skill and commitment to the contract and will be rewarded by flexible working patterns and overtime if desired.
Activities will include: -
. NC programming of root-form grinding machines - NX software
. 5 axis grinding of rotor blades, Heidenhain & Easygrind on Bridgeport's & Makino's.
. CNC & Conventional EDM (essential)
. Problem Solving
. Cost Savings
. Sourcing of tooling and equipment
. Creation of routings in SAP
. Creation of layouts
. Inspection of parts
