Fund Governance Launch Consultant Part VII transfer Retail and DC Funds
Our client is one of the worlds leading asset management organsiations. An exicting opportunity has arisen for an interim Fund Governance Consultant to manage the end-to-end fund governance process for the launch of (Circa) 70 funds.
THE ROLE:
- Lead, manage and complete the tasks required for the end-to-end Fund Governance process for the delivery of fund launches for Part VII supporting the DC product proposition. Supporting the fact sheet production for these and update of fund database records, collaborating with internal and external teams
- Complete the Fund Governance work required to launch of circa 70 funds and associated share classes (number TBC) required for the successful completion of the Part VII transfer of assets. These funds will be launched in tranches across 2017 and are required to be in place by Q4
- Collation of all reference data pertaining to each fund enabling teams to set up fund structures on systems and enable trading - this data is collated centrally and comprises approx. 90 data points per fund
- Compilation of fund specification documents used for audit purposes, authorised asset set up and supporting material for Life Limited Board approval papers - working with Strategic Project Management, Compliance, Portfolio Managers ensuring correct fund guidelines for fund structure and management
- Adherence to deadlines set by operations in advance of the monthly launch windows - typically fully validated fund data will be required 6-8 weeks prior to each monthly launch window
- Key participation in any associated governance approval required by the new funds including compilation of Committee documentation supporting the launches
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Background in financial services, knowledge and background in the maintenance and launch of DC and retail funds
- Project management experience
- Experience of collaboration with key senior stakeholders both internal and external
