Description

Biopharmacuetical Manufacturing plant based in Dublin have a contract requirement for an Equipment Engineer/Spares Co-ordinator to co-ordinate the system spares assessments to identify critical spares.

This is a 12 month contract assignment and you will be working closely with teams such as: Maintenance, CMMS & Stores departments.

To be successful for this role we are looking for candidates who have ideally worked within a Process Manufacturing OR Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment with 2-3 years working experience involving mechanical equipment and instrumentation.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Working through P&ID's and Vendor documentation to identify system components and associated spare parts.
  • Populating Excel Spreadsheets with spares data and conducting a gap analysis.
  • Organise Spares Assessment meetings with the required cross-functional teams.
  • Liaising with various vendors/suppliers to obtain information on equipment specification, repair kits etc.
  • Conduct equipment walk downs on site to acquire applicable spares information.
  • Transfer of spares requirements from the maintenance team to the CMMS/Stores team for set-up and order.
  • Performing other tasks as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
The successful candidate will:
  • Have a 3rd level qualification in Engineering or relevant trade.
  • Have 2-3 plus years work experience involving mechanical equipment/instrumentation, ideally in a process manufacturing environment.
  • Competent in use of Microsoft Office Packages (Excel specifically).
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Some CMMS/Maximo experience would be an advantage.
