Internal Recruiter

Chester Business Park, Chester

6 months Contract.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch is currently seeking to recruit an Internal Recruitment Consultant to work as part of their team based in in Chester.

Considered as a subject matter expert within recruitment, the role holder is responsible for consulting with multiple line of business and HR partners to ensure all permanent vacancies are resourced in a timely and cost effective manner, in line with the hiring plan. Reporting into the Talent Acquisition Manager, the role holder will be a collaborative team player, with a passion for delivering a high level customer and candidate experience, with a flexible and pragmatic approach to delivering results.

Key skills:

  • IT skills including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Desirable experience of recruiting IT, Technical, Risk & Digital roles
  • Advert Writing
  • Interviewing candidates
  • Previous experience of candidate on-boarding

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for building and managing effective relationships with key stakeholders at all levels across the business and delivering on UK Card hiring plan
  • Acting as an SME, advise hiring managers on appropriate sourcing techniques and support through the end-to-end recruitment process
  • Deliver positive candidate experience ensuring that the vision, mission and values are articulated and reflected throughout the candidate journey
  • Responsible for liaising with key HR partners throughout the hiring process ensuring they are proactively updated as required
  • Influence and negotiate with stakeholders where appropriate
  • Responsible for working closely with LOB, HRMs and Finance on a cyclical basis ensuring that hiring is accurately forecasted
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activity and innovation across the team supporting key projects as directed eg social media, employer brand
  • Accountable for ensuring adherence to all process requirements including administrative duties supporting the role, ensuring all relevant information is recording on the appropriate recruitment systems
  • Strong consulting and communication skills, demonstrating the ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels across the business
  • Proven experience in remaining abreast of external industry trends
